Designed and created for Haddonstone by the world-renowned
David Harber workshop. The Crescent holds the gnomon, which Includes gnomon. Designed
casts a shadow onto the hour band. Engraved along the hour band for south facing walls, this
is the Latin inscription “HORA QUASI UMBRA” which translates as decorative ornament gives an
“time is but a shadow”. Manufactured in high specification mirror insight into the workings of a
polished stainless steel, the sundial is ideal for Haddonstone’s Baluster wall sundial.
